Dr Bilalis is a native New Orleanian, first generation American born to Greek parents. He graduated from Jesuit High School in 2008, LSU with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and minor in Chemistry in 2012, and his Doctorate of Optometry from the UIW Rosenburg School of Optometry in San Antonio in 2017.
Dr Bilalis has combined his passion for optometry with his desire to help others by volunteering at the Louisiana School for the Blind and on a mission trip to Oaxaca, Mexico. He specializes in contact lens fittings, bifocals, astigmatism, dry eye treatments, and the management/treatment of various eye diseases. Outside of the office, Dr Bilalis enjoys hunting, fishing, working on his honey-do list and is an active member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
